5 Year Warranty -  1 year full and 4 years pro-rated

Warranty for the Chilipepper CP6000 green plumbing product.

LIMITED WARRANTY: Chilipepper Sales will repair or replace without charge (at the company's option) any Chilipepper appliance which is proven defective under normal use within one year of the date of purchase, and a pro-rated warranty for an additional 4 years.

 In order to obtain services under this warranty, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify the company in writing and promptly deliver the item in question, delivery prepaid to the factory. The address for notification and delivery is Chilipepper Sales  1380 Greg St.,  # 221   Sparks Nevada,  89431    775-359-1223. If the product in question contains no defect as covered in this warranty, the purchaser will be billed for parts and labor charges in effect at the time of factory examination and repair.

Any Chilipepper not installed or operated in conformity with the instructions or which has been subject to misuse, misapplication, the addition of petroleum based fluids or certain chemical additives to the system, or other abuse, will not be covered by this warranty.

CHILIPEPPER SALES OFFERS THIS WARRANTY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY LAW INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS IS IN EFFECT ONLY FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THE PARAGRAPH ENTITLED LIMITED WARRANTY AS SHOWN ABOVE.

THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR STATUTORY, OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF CHILIPEPPER SALES.

Chilipepper Sales will not be liable for any special incidental, indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of its products or any incidental costs of removing or replacing defective products.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or on the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so those limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

After the 1st year, warranty service will require a check in the amount indicated in the column
adjacent the number of months since the unit was purchased.

The amount includes shipping and handling costs.

Example: if your Chilipepper is 28 months old and needs warranty service you will need to
send $94.00 with your unit for service or replacement.

TIPS FOR REMOVING THE CHILIPEPPER:

Take a short piece of 1/2" pipe called a nipple because it has threads on both ends of the pipe and plug it with a small plastic bag. (The plastic bag will prevent the hot and cold water from mixing.) Then, simply disconnect the hoses attached to the Chilipepper and replace the Chilipepper with the 1/2"  peice of pipe.
OR   you could  use two capped nipples, one for each hose that was disconnected from the Chilipepper.  

 DO NOT SEND BACK THE BUTTON OR ANY HOSES.
