In many cases a Chilipepper can provide quick hot water to several or even all of the hot water fixtures in your home. If your home has one main hot water run from the water heater that loops from location to location, then a single Chilipepper will provide quick hot water for your entire home.  Just place it at the location furthest from the water heater.

When you want hot water, you just press the start button and the Chilipepper begins pumping hot water from your water heater to your fixture.  The cooled off hot water in the hot water piping is forced into the cold water line where it flows back to the water heater inlet.  In other words, it pumps the water in a big loop.  That way no water gets run down the drain while you wait for your hot water.

The Chilipepper can be remote controlled.  By hooking an x-10 um504 remote receiver to the control cable of the Chilipepper, any x-10 transmitter can provide the start signal to the Chilipepper. You can even hook it up to be activated by motion controllers or timers.

Put a remote button next to your alarm clock.  In the morning when you shut off the alarm, touch the Chilipepper remote button too, and when you get to the bathroom the hot water will be ready for you.

Have a tankless water heater?  The Chilipepper works great with tankless water heaters too! Since the Chilipepper pumps two and a half to three gallons per minute it has more than enough flow to turn on any model of tankless water heater.

The Chilipepper is inexpensive and easy to install.    You do need a 110 volt outlet under the sink where you mount the Chilipepper to plug it into.

The most common cause for poor dishwasher performance is not hot enough water on the first fill cycle.  If the water isn't hot enough it won't completely dissolve the dishwasher soap, and your dishes won't get as clean.  By activating the Chilipepper just before you run the dishwasher your first fill cycle will be full temperature hot water and your dishwasher will work better.
