Trouble Shooting Your Chilipepper Hot Water Pump

Hot water gets in the cold water line without running the pump.

With some plumbing layouts, very large hot water draws can cause enough of a pressure
drop to cause hot water to push past the check valve and fill the cold water line with hot
water.  To solve this problem the spring pressure on the valve check needs to be increased.

This is done by placing a spacer over the spring. Spring Adjustment Instructions
